John, the IRS has lost complete sight of its mission.
They aren't an army.
They aren’t henchmen.
They aren’t a watchdog organization.
And they have no business buying $700,000 worth of ammunition and running ads seeking agents who know how to use guns and “deadly force if necessary.”
Their job is to answer phones and process tax returns in a timely manner – and they can’t even do that right.
The problem isn’t that the IRS is “understaffed” – the problem is that our so-called “leaders” spend and spend and spend without a care in the world about how much they take from you and how much of it is wasted by the government.
Now these “leaders” want to give the IRS more power to shake down innocent citizens like thugs in the street by snooping into their bank accounts to look at every penny they spend.
The writing is on the wall, and if Joe Biden has his way, the IRS will get $80 billion and hire 87,000 new agents to become the most dangerous agency in American history.
This is a dark time for our country, but this fight is just beginning.
I hope you’ll continue to stand with Citizens Against Government Waste as we work tirelessly to stop the government from growing out of control by cutting spending and allowing you to keep more of your hard-earned money in your pocket.
Sincerely,
Tom Schatz
