John,

Last night my opponent and I took the debate stage for the first — and only — time this election season.

I talked about my roots right here in Broome County, my experience taking on big fights in big places for working families, and my vision for Upstate New York.

And I made this point crystal clear: in the face of great dysfunction and division in Washington, I am more optimistic than ever before about what we can accomplish when we come together.

John, I hope you’re as excited as I am about the vision I laid out on that debate stage last night.

So with just 11 days left until the August 23rd Primary election, I need to know John: will you please chip in $5, or even $10 to help us get out the vote and ensure that we secure this critical nomination?

Fundraising is my least favorite part of the job; meeting voters and discussing policy issues is my favorite.

So I’m hoping to spend as much time these final 11 days meeting with and talking to voters, and as little time fundraising on the phone as possible.
