Throughout my career as a registered nurse, I’ve seen the glaring inequalities in our health care system firsthand, and have a deep understanding of the impacts sky-high medical bills and prescription drug prices have on our working families.

So when the voters elected me to Congress, I made it my mission to make quality health care more affordable and accessible for all Americans — and today, I have some big news to share with you on our progress:

The House just passed the historic Inflation Reduction Act! And I’m so proud to share that the final version of this legislation includes my bill to lower health care costs and prescription drug prices for millions of families.

It’s hard to overstate just how big of a deal this bill really is or the impact it will have on our working families. This legislation will not only address inflation and reduce health care costs, but it also will take historic strides to tackle the climate crisis — all while ensuring large corporations pay their fair share.

Since folks like you elected me to Congress, my top priority has been making a difference in the lives of the people I represent — and today, we’re doing just that. But there’s more work ahead of us.

So today, I’m humbly asking you to pitch in to my campaign for Congress to keep this work going. I’m ready to roll up my sleeves and keep fighting for progress, and I’ll need you with me every step of the way.
