Law enforcement reporting shows an increase in the supply of illicit fentanyl passing across the nation?s southern border with Mexico, and the Biden Administration?s refusal to address border security has contributed to the problem. Wyoming is part of the?Governor?s Border Strike Force that was assembled to help states work collaboratively to address the issue.

Last month the?National Suicide Prevention Lifeline launched a new 988 number, nationwide. Wyoming-based callers who dial 988 can now obtain?Wyoming-based coverage 24 hours a day, every day. In Gillette, the Campbell County Suicide Prevention Coalition has partnered with local businesses to raise awareness for suicide prevention resources and information.
