Yesterday, Merrick Garland made his first official statement since the FBI executed a court-mandated raid of Mar-a-Lago. Of course, due to the sensitive nature of the case and the fact that Garland is a professional, the Attorney General used understated language and a lot of legalese.

But he left some breadcrumbs about what he really thought about the case, and the potential steps leading forward. So we got our Merrick Garland translators out, and got a pretty good idea about what our Attorney General was talking about:
