John,

I’m Aubrey Powers, and I’m the Voter Protection Director for the Maine Democratic Party. My job is to work day in and day out to ensure every eligible Mainer is able to cast their ballot.

Thanks to the support of people like you, Maine Dems has been able to launch a robust Voter Protection Initiative to educate voters and ensure our November elections remain free from interference.

Programs like this are crucial to safeguarding democracy by ensuring all Mainers are able to vote in a free and fair election – and it’s only possible because people like you step up and support Maine Dems. Donate any amount now to help us keep fighting.

Maine has a long history of elections free from fraud or interference, but events like January 6th and Trump’s Big Lie remind us that we always have work to do to protect the integrity of our elections.

We’ve already started an outreach campaign to help voters access absentee ballots, set up a hotline for voting questions, and started recruiting poll observers to protect our local elections from wrongdoers. But we’re counting on you to help us too.

One thing you can do right now to help protect democracy? Chip in $5 to help Maine Dems. History has shown that when Mainers show up, Democrats win — so we need to do everything we can to protect voting and more in Maine.
