Electing even just one attorney general who refuses to certify the 2024 presidential election could throw our country into chaos. Republican extremists could try and change the outcome of the election like they did in 2020 – and it will be even worse if Donald Trump runs for President again.
It couldn’t be clearer that the difference between having a fair election in 2024 is going to come down to whether we have pro-democracy AGs in office. And that includes states like Arizona with candidates like Kris Mayes.
Republican AG candidates are willing to say anything they think will appease former President Trump. Meanwhile, Kris Mayes is running as a staunch supporter of American democracy, who will be a stalwart against the threats we saw in Arizona as Trump and his cronies attempted, and continue to attempt, to overturn the 2020 election.
