Yet to top up the protection your Covid vaccine provides?
Second and booster doses are available for eligible 12–15 year olds as well as second doses for eligible 5–11 year olds. Both at Royal Oldham Hospital's Dinwoodie Centre.

This autumn many vaccine centres will be prioritising the next stage of the Covid vaccine rollout so it might be more difficult to get current booster jab offers. To ensure you don’t miss out try and attend a centre over the next few weeks to get any vaccines you are eligible for.

Opening times and locations of vaccine centres available here ([link removed]) .

Don’t Trash Oldham: fines worth £132,000 given out for environmental crimes
We know no one wants to live in a tip. That’s why our enforcement officers take action against people and businesses who think it is okay to dump their rubbish and leave others to clean it up.

Since we started our Don’t Trash Oldham clean-up campaign in September last year we have given out 367 fixed penalty notices (FPNs) to people for environmental crimes – that works out at £132,000 in fines.

We have also taken 39 people to court and recovered fines and costs in excess of £28,000. Another 121 cases are going through the legal system.

FPN payments go back into the service to pay for it.

Fines given out by magistrates and judges go to the court. The council receives the costs, which cover enforcement officer time, legal costs and clean-up charges.

If you would like to get involved in Don’t Trash Oldham, or have information about environmental crimes then please visit www.oldham.gov.uk/donttrasholdham
