I’m Jared’s finance point person, so my job is to make sure we’re raising enough money to keep our message playing across the district. To do that, I track every dollar we bring in and send out on a weekly (and sometimes daily) basis.

That’s why I’m writing to you today, John. It’s critical we hit each fundraising benchmark, but right now we’re about $7,000 short of our target for the second week of August. We need to close that gap by Sunday night to stay on track – if you’re able, is there anything you could chip in to help us get there and keep our ads on the air?
