Are you election season ready, John? With the November 8th General Election less than 90 days away, here's a quick roundup of events, meetups, and trainings to help you and your fellow democracy defenders prepare for the most important election of our lifetime.

 

IMPORTANT DATES TO REMEMBER

October 24, 2022: Last day to REGISTER before the November election

November 1, 2022: Last day to apply for a mail-in or civilian absentee ballot

November 8, 2022: Last day for County Boards of Elections to receive voted mail-in and civilian absentee ballots (must be received by 8:00 P.M.)

Volunteer Trainings

Introduction to Voter Registration

Wednesday, August 17 at 7:00 p.m.

 

Our monthly training is for new volunteers who are ready to get involved and need to learn the basics of voter registration and existing volunteers who need a refresher.

Overcoming Objections

Wednesday, August 25 at 6:30 p.m.

 

This interactive, in-depth training focuses on making the ask to register voters, walking through objections and exploring how to handle those objections with responses that will turn into successful voter registrations.
