Don’s opponent, Sandy Smith, has been accused of violence against multiple family members, including her daughter and two ex-husbands. The abuse allegations include:
- Bashing her ex-husband’s head bloody with an alarm clock in the middle of the night while he was sleeping.
- Trying to run over her then-husband with a car.
- Holding her daughter on the ground while punching her in the face with a closed fist.
