Dear John,
Thank you for your partnership fighting for more than 140 issues over my 8 years in the Council (most of it is in our full 175-page report).
Over the past months, many have reached out or stopped me on the
street, sharing memories and asking what’s next, and I’ve been truly
humbled.
Early this year, I joined joining the White House, Executive Office of the President, in the United States Digital Service working remotely from here in New York City to digitally transform our federal government to better serve our nation.
President Joe Biden inspired me to serve when he signed a number of ground breaking Executive Orders to transform our government to make it easier for Americans to access the government services they
need to not only survive, but thrive. Of the 140 issues we worked on
together, providing automatic benefits
to lift people out of poverty, was perhaps nearest and dearest to my
heart. There is no better time and no better administration to join to
bring the change we want to see in the world.
