This week’s inflation report shows prices are still out-of-control for Montanans, and many Montana families are still struggling to make ends meet.
Compared to one year ago, Montanans are spending 38% more on eggs, the price for coffee rose over 20% and bread costs nearly 14% more.
Despite Montanans suffering from the ongoing inflation crisis and the country entering a recession, President Biden's administration and my colleagues across the aisle just passed a massive spending bill that will make economic matters worse for Montana families.
As your United States Senator, I will keep working against wasteful spending and find common sense solutions to lower costs for hardworking Montana families.
