Hi there, today I’m attending one of my favorite Illinois events: the State Fair Twilight Parade!

This is one of our longest, most popular ongoing traditions, which highlights our agricultural industry and the hard work of Illinois’ farmers.

The State Fair embodies what we’re working toward in this campaign: that our working families, our small farmers, and our community – everything we’re celebrating today – don’t have a champion for them in Congress.

It’s time to change that.

We have the chance to finally send a leader beholden to the people to Washington, but it’s going to take all of us to get there. That’s why I’m reaching out to you personally to ask for your grassroots support. Will you chip in $3 toward our $3,500 State Fair celebration goal today? »
