Friend,
In the face of 40-year-high inflation, record gas prices, and disastrous economic policy coming out of Democrat-controlled Washington D.C., Governor Kemp has consistently delivered real relief to Georgians who are struggling to make ends meet.
And thanks to Governor Kemp’s pro-job, pro-family policies, the state of Georgia now has a record budget surplus. But this isn’t the government’s money…it’s yours. That’s why Governor Kemp is calling on state lawmakers to put this surplus cash back in YOUR wallet. First, he is putting forward a nearly $1 billion income tax rebate to the General Assembly early next year…$250 for a single filer, $375 for a single filer who’s head of household, and $500 for married couples filing jointly. |
Second, Governor Kemp is proposing an additional $1 billion to fund the “Georgia Homeowner Rebate”. This rebate will save Georgia homeowners between 15% and 25% on their local property tax bill next year for an average savings of $500 per homeowner. |
As Georgians face rising housing prices and a painful cost-of-living crisis, these tax rebates will provide much-needed relief to hardworking Georgians. And, they stand in sharp contrast to the destructive tax-and-spend agenda of Joe Biden and Stacey Abrams.
Governor Kemp is committed to defeating far-left radical Stacey Abrams this fall and keeping Georgia the best place to live, work, and raise a family for many years to come. - Team Kemp
