After months of difficult compromises, long hours of debate, and tough negotiations, Delaware’s Senators Tom Carper and Chris Coons voted YES on the Inflation Reduction Act. I’d like to thank them, as well as their Democratic colleagues in the House, the Senate, and the Biden-Harris Administration for their commitment to passing this critical legislation. Above all else, I’d like to thank you, the supporters and activists who’ve fought long and hard for the issues that matter most to American families: reducing prescription drug copays, lowering health care costs, making large corporations pay their fair share in taxes, improving energy efficiency, combating climate change, and chipping away at our federal deficit. |
