Hi Friend, Did you see Dana Barrett’s email earlier this week? I am so proud to be endorsed by my friend Dana. It’s an honor to be building on the hard work she put in when she ran against Barry Loudermilk in 2020, and I’m grateful to have her support in this movement. Dana made great progress in 2020. But the fight isn’t over – and we know now that the stakes are even higher than they were before. After Barry won in 2020, he went on to attempt to overturn the results of the Presidential election. If he wins again this year, he will have the chance to do the same thing in 2024. We can’t let that happen. Our democracy is at stake. With people like Barry in power, our rights are being taken away from us. All of the values that we hold dear - freedom, justice, liberty - cannot be taken for granted. Barry is a right-wing extremist, and we can’t let him continue his anti-democracy agenda in Congress. He’s already voted to overturn a free and fair election, voted against marriage equality, voted against reproductive rights, refuses to do anything about the gun violence epidemic, and gave a tour of the Capitol complex to insurrectionists – who knows what he’ll do next? We can’t give him the chance. We can’t afford to let him stay in power. Too much is at stake. This election is too important to just sit back and see how it plays out. It is not going to be an easy fight – it is going to take ALL of us to ensure that we oust Barry from his seat in Congress. Are you going to be a part of this fight?
