John – A few days ago we got word that crypto billionaire Sam Bankman-Fried is spending big to elect our opponent Josh Lafazan, a conservative who registered as a Democrat just two weeks before jumping in this race.
But for now, it doesn't look like it’s working. According to a recent NY-03 primary poll, my opponents and I are in a statistical tie. That means we are within striking distance of winning this race despite the dark money groups and corporate cash backing my opponents.
The hard work of our grassroots campaign is paying off. It shows that our opponents can’t just buy this race with their personal wealth, corporate backers, and deceptive TV ads.
But here’s the thing: that poll shows nearly half of voters are UNDECIDED, which means it could be anyone’s race.
When folks hear about my background and our grassroots movement, they support me. We just need the resources to do more of that outreach before the August 23 primary – just 12 days away.
