Dear Neighbor,



Although Primary Election Day is August 23rd, I prefer to think of that as
your last chance to vote. That’s because *Early Voting starts this Saturday*,
August 13th, and runs every day until Sunday, August 21st. To find your
Early Voting poll site (which may be different from your Election Day poll
site or the poll site you used in the June primary) and opening hours, go
to [link removed].


That website also contains other useful information, like a sample ballot
to tell you who you will be voting for. Depending on where you live and
what party you are registered with, you could be voting in a primary for
your party’s nominee for the House of Representatives and the State Senate.



The deadline to apply for an Absentee Ballot has already passed. If you did
apply for an absentee ballot, you can track its progress here:
[link removed]. Once you’ve filled out your absentee
ballot, you can return it by mail (it must be postmarked by Election Day,
August 23rd) or drop it off in person at the Board of Elections office, or
any Early Voting or Election Day poll site.



Remember, because of recent changes in law, if you have applied for an
absentee ballot but choose for any reason to vote in person either early or
on Election Day, you will have to fill out an affidavit ballot (if you’ve
already submitted a valid absentee ballot, your affidavit ballot will not
be counted).



I know that all the changes to this year’s elections process have been
confusing. Thank you for doing your part to maintain a vibrant and healthy
