Insurrection enablers just won big in Michigan’s GOP primary – here’s a glimpse at just some of the dangerous candidates now on the ballot:

• Trump-endorsed Angela Rigas attended the Jan 6th insurrection and said she considered it a compliment to be called an insurrectionist and terrorist.
• Trump-endorsed Rep. Matt Maddock also attended and led efforts in Michigan to overturn election results.
• And Diane Saber participated in the insurrection but later claimed it was a “set up” to make Trump and his supporters look bad.

These candidates are a disgrace to our democracy. They worked to overturn the results of a free and fair election, enabled the violence on Jan 6th, and have blindly followed the agenda of a twice-impeached president and an extremist GOP.

As state legislators, they’d have the ability to vote on bills impacting everything from voting access to how the 2024 election is conducted in their states – so it’s critical that we defeat them this November.
