The scope of this call is national and we strongly encourage submissions from researchers, implementers, academics, and policymakers across South Africa.
Submissions may include research conducted in any South African setting (for example, geographic location, racial group, health sector), and may include:
- Paternal (dis)connections, pregnancy and fatherhood
- Fatherhood over lifecourse/development: teen, learner/student, young fathers, grandfathers
- Economies of fatherhood: Work, Parental leave, Paternal identity, Mental health
- Queer fathering, GNC (Trans) fathers
- Non-normative fathers: Incarcerated, single fathers
- Fatherhood and Violence
- The health of SA Fathers
