Let's recap what's happened recently, JOhn:
Kansas voters overwhelmingly voted down an effort to restrict abortion rights.
In the two House special elections (one in Nebraska last month, and one in Minnesota this week) since Roe v. Wade was overturned, Democrats improved by 5 percent over their 2020 performance.
Our Democratic majorities in Congress have recently passed a wave of bills to help the American people, including the CHIPS Act, legislation to expand healthcare for veterans, and gun safety legislation.
And we're on the cusp of finally passing a major drug price reduction and climate bill!
In short: Republican extremism is being rejected, and Democrats are showing the American people what competent governance looks like. This all adds up to a political environment where the House is very much in play — after many pundits wrote it off for Democrats.
Every battleground race could be the difference between Democratic and Republican control of Congress, JOhn.
