John, in case you missed last week’s news, the people of Kansas overwhelmingly voted to protect the right to abortion in their state:
I hope our current anti-choice congressman is taking note: When you vote to strip away our fundamental human rights, we will make our voices heard at the ballot box.
This November, Nebraskans will have to wage a similar fight to protect our reproductive rights. My opponent has already voted against access to both abortion (without exception for rape or incest) and contraception in Congress — even though the majority of Nebraskans support safe and legal abortion access.
Mike Flood has proven that if he stays in Congress for a full term, he will use his vote to roll our country back to the Dark Ages. But John, if we stand together in this fight to defend our bodily autonomy and elect a pro-choice leader this November, we can protect our right to choose.
