New data has shown that our country's unemployment rate has hit record lows. Gas prices have fallen for 58 straight days. Real wages went up for the first time in almost a year, but we know that costs are still too high.
We have more work to do, and Congress will be voting on the Inflation Reduction Act to lower health care, prescription drugs, and energy costs.
This legislation includes three of my bills that would create the first ever tax credit for working families and individuals to purchase a used electric vehicle and increase incentives to make homes more efficient, lower consumer's energy bills, and reduce carbon emissions.
