What’s Next: The interns have recently started their year-long journey at their respective host agencies, where they will gain knowledge, skills, and hands on experience alongside the experts of our Bay Area affordable housing industry! What BAHIPers Gain: The work of the interns at their host agency covers the core competencies of BAHIP, which includes the financial pro forma, the project approval process, loan closings, development finance applications, and leadership development. Their experience also includes a year of activities, trainings, networking, and events led by NPH and our partners and other professionals, that cover real estate development, housing policy and advocacy, and soft skills training, such as communications, workplace culture, and more. |
