The FBI and Department of Justice's actions when it comes to Donald Trump's 2016 campaign were disgraceful. I believe that most members of the FBI and DOJ are true patriots, but sadly a few people who hated Trump from day one got too much power and tried to impose their will on the American people. I'm trying to get to the bottom of what happened. The hearing on Wednesday in the Judiciary Committee with Inspector General Horowitz was a critical step to uncovering the truth. It's sad that CNN refused to cover some of the most important parts of the hearing! But now, John, I've stirred up a liberal hornets' nest. My Democratic opponents and radical liberals have been attacking me non-stop since I gaveled the hearing into session. They are furious that I am upholding the Constitution and trying to root out potential corruption in our government. Additionally, my Democratic opponents hate that I've been an outspoken opponent of the sham impeachment process, so they're rallying their angry liberal donors online to give whatever it takes to defeat me. Sadly, it's working, and we must fight back! I need your support so I can defeat their national campaign against me and stay on the job. We MUST finally get to the bottom of this disgraceful abuse. Democrats know they only need to flip 4 seats next November to seize control of the Senate, and there's no one they want to defeat more than me!
