We will have to fight with everything we have over the next three months to keep Minnesota moving forward.

Our Republican opponents, Scott Jensen and Matt Birk, are election-denying anti-vaccine conspiracy theorists who want to ban abortion for survivors of rape and cut funding for public schools. But even though their priorities are deeply out of step with our values as Minnesotans, polls show they’re already running in a statistical dead-heat with Governor Walz and me.

I am proud of what we have accomplished together over these last four years, but our work isn’t done. There’s so much more we can do to build on our progress – like expanding childcare, investing in classrooms, and tackling climate change.

At a minimum, John, we cannot let Scott Jensen and Matt Birk drag us backward. Over the next three months, Governor Walz and I are going to talk to voters in every corner of the state about our vision for Minnesota and what’s at stake this November, but we can’t win this race alone.
