Donald Trump’s handpicked Postmaster General Louis DeJoy just announced
his plan to slash 50,000 jobs from USPS. Remember, this is the same guy
who:

* Left his job as finance chair at the Republican National Committee to
take this position
* Helped Donald Trump undermine vote-by-mail by slowing down mail
delivery and decommissioning mail ballot sorting machines right before
the 2020 election
* Remains at odds with the White House and Environmental Protection
Agency’s recommendations to replace aging gas-powered USPS vehicles
with fully electric ones

The list goes on. And you might be wondering, “Why does this guy hate the
USPS so much?” Well, there’s also this: DeJoy’s family business includes
direct competitors with the Postal Service.

It’s clear what he’s trying to do. Destroy the USPS from within, in order
to gain political points from Trump and his acolytes but also to profit
financially.

Enough is enough. With President Biden’s nominees confirmed, the USPS
Board of Governors finally has the power to fire DeJoy and replace him
with a competent, nonpartisan leader, and they’ve got to do it now.

any more damage.

I won’t stand to see DeJoy’s sabotage plot continue to hurt our nation’s
oldest postal system. Thanks for joining me in calling for action.
