Friend, I'm personally reaching out about one of the Democrats' best opportunities to pick up a Senate seat and bolster our 50-50 Democratic majority in November: Mandela Barnes, who just won his primary election in Wisconsin.

Polls show Mandela neck and neck with Republican Ron Johnson. GOP super PACs and dark money groups are prepared to spend whatever it takes to keep this seat red and return Senate control to Mitch McConnell.

If Mandela is going to have enough resources to fight back, it's going to take a surge in grassroots support. That's why, with less than 100 days to go before Election Day, I'm looking for this team to raise $10,000 by midnight to help Mandela flip Wisconsin blue – and I'm counting on you to pitch in, friend:

As a community organizer, state legislator, and lieutenant governor, Mandela spent the last decade in public service. Now, we need him fighting in the Senate to move our Democratic agenda forward. 

We can count on Mandela to work tirelessly to combat climate change, restore reproductive freedom nationwide, and protect our democracy from dark money's corrosive influence. 

But that's precisely why the GOP is fighting so hard – and spending so much – to keep this seat firmly under their control. They know as well as I do that Mandela has what it takes to flip this seat blue and expand our Democratic Senate majority. But the only way he can do that is with your grassroots support.
