We noticed a concerning trend in our online fundraising,
John.

Pramila relies on small-dollar donations from our grassroots supporters.
She doesn’t take a dime from the corporate PACs that have massive
influence in Congress. So, it’s significant that we saw a 19% decrease in
online fundraising last quarter. And we’ve seen a steep dip in fundraising
at the beginning of this month, too.

During a midterm election year when Pramila is running for re-election and
we’re fighting to protect the Democratic majority in the House, we cannot

Here’s what’s on the line:

In 2022, our campaign has provided field organizing, phone banking, and
fundraising support for people-first progressives running in primaries and
Democrats running in tough swing district races against Republicans.
Pramila has traveled to be on the ground to knock doors and build support
for Democrats in states across the country. That all costs money. It’s
work we can only sustain with your support.

Pramila is also facing her own re-election race, as the GOP challenges her
in WA-7. We’re organizing across our district, formulating GOTV plans, and
talking to voters about Pramila’s work.

As we build to November, to re-elect Pramila, elect Democrats in swing
districts, and elect more progressives, we’re going to need to pick up our
fundraising.
