New leadership, same mission

John,
I’ve had the privilege of working for Concerned Veterans for America for eight years now, most recently as deputy director. In that time, we've worked together to make life better for veterans and all Americans.
Now I’m honored to take that work a step further as CVA’s new executive director.
We have an important mission: to defend the freedoms we and our families fought and scarified for. That mission will not change.
I’ve seen CVA’s grassroots army build a strong reputation and develop a proven track record in driving real change in support of this mission. And I know there’s no better organization to continue bringing the veteran spirit of service and sacrifice to the table to find real solutions for a better future.
I will strive to continue the progress we and those who've led CVA so well before me have made.
You can get to know more about me and my story on CVA’s The Overwatch.

I want to hand my children and grandchildren what was handed to me — a prosperous, free nation. And I know that the work we do through CVA is the best way to accomplish that.
I look forward to continuing to defend freedom with you!
In Service,
Russ Duerstine
