FOLLOWING THE PARTISAN RAID OF MAR-A-LAGO, AFL LAUNCHES INVESTIGATIVE BLITZ INTO THE BIDEN ADMINISTRATION’S POLITICIZATION OF THE DOJ AND WEAPONIZATION OF THE FBI
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Less than forty-eight hours after the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s “banana republic” raid on former President Donald Trump’s home, Mar-A-Lago, America First Legal (AFL) has launched an investigative blitz of the Department of Justice, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the National Archives and Records Administration, and the Internal Revenue Service. AFL’s activities include:
- Investigation Into Biden’s VP Records: To arm the public with the information needed to ensure federal laws are applied equally, AFL has launched a multi-front FOIA investigation of the National Archives and Records Administration seeking President Biden’s records from his time as Vice President to shed light on his relationship with Hunter Biden’s and James Binden’s foreign business partners, among other things.
- Investigation Into Mar-a-Lago Raid: For government transparency and accountability, AFL has launched a multi-prong FOIA investigation of the Biden DOJ and NARA to uncover the facts about the Biden Administration’s unprecedented decision to raid President Trump’s home, to expose the decision makers, and to lay bare who, behind the scenes, demands that taxpayer dollars be wasted on yet another partisan witch hunt of the 45th President.
- DOJ OIG Investigation Request Into DOJ Politicization: AFL has asked the U.S. Department of Justice Inspector General to investigate eight specific cases–including suppression of Biden family corruption evidence, targeting parents as domestic terrorists, and leniency for leftist rioters–in which the Biden Administration DOJ undermined the rule of law by using a double-standard to reward its leftist friends and punish its Republican opponents. If Congress is interested in actually conducting oversight, the request provides a roadmap regarding topics to explore.
- Investigation Into FBI election interference: Based on internal whistleblower reports of FBI partisan corruption, AFL has launched a FOIA investigation of FBI Supervisory Intelligence Analyst Brian Auten and FBI Assistant Special Agent in Charge Timothy Thibault regarding evidence of bias and interference in both the 2016 (Russia collusion hoax/Crossfire Hurricane) and the 2020 (labeling the information found on Hunter Biden’s laptop “disinformation”) Presidential elections.
