September is almost here and that means it's time to get ready for National Preparedness Month (“NPM”). NPM is an initiative sponsored by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (“FEMA”), part of the US Department of Homeland Security.

As you map out your activities for NPM, we hope you incorporate STOP THE BLEED® training into your plans. Visit our training resources page to learn more.

September is also a great time to start a STOP THE BLEED® Club, if your school does not already have one. The STOP THE BLEED® Club program is free and provides tools and resources to start or enhance an existing STOP THE BLEED® program.

The Coalition’s goal is to support the growth and impact of the campaign by providing access to information and services to the growing STOP THE BLEED® community as well as financial support to the STOP THE BLEED® Project.

STOP THE BLEED® is a national campaign to encourage bystanders to become trained, equipped, and empowered to help in a bleeding emergency before professional help arrives. It is a public/private partnership led by the Department of Defense and many other stakeholders, including the Stop the Bleed Coalition.
