Dear Friend: 

A few weeks ago, Bill wrote to share the agenda for this year’s Clinton Global Initiative meeting — the community’s first major gathering since 2016. 

Today, I have the distinct privilege of previewing some of those who will be at this year’s meeting, including a wide range of voices from business, government, philanthropy, and grassroots organizations making change in communities across the country and around the world.

From climate change to economic inequality and global health, we face existential and deeply interconnected challenges. Our ask is simple: take action, together. This year’s meeting will focus on how.

In my travels and work throughout the years, I’ve seen how important it is to bring diverse voices together if you want to make real and lasting change — from heads of state and boardrooms, to those funding philanthropic efforts worldwide, to community leaders on the frontlines of change. This year’s meeting will amplify each of these voices -– shining a light on the solutions already making a difference, and identifying ways to drive even more impact. And just as important, we’ll bring people together in new ways to connect with and learn from one another. 

As Bill often says, CGI has always been about what we can do, together. I hope you’ll take a look at the details for this year’s meeting, and join us in September.
