Churchfield Lane Community Litter Pick

Councillor Bryan, local residents and clean champions spent time together this spring delivering a litter pick on Churchfield Lane.

The residents who live on the street were very pleased with the end result and the team would like more residents to take part in such event across the ward. If you want to get involved, sign up for a FREE litter-picking kit at www.nottinghamcity.gov.uk/cleanchampions and contact your local Councillors. 


Celebrating the Queen's Jubilee together

Cllr Bryan warmly welcomed people at at Jubilee Tea Party on Sunday 5th June in Arboretum Park.

She also made a contribution to the Platinum Jubilee event which took place in Arboretum Park same day, which celebrated the Queen’s historic reign saying a Thank You to the Queen for 70 years of service.

The event focused on multicultural participation with food from various parts of the world, music, games for both adults and children and live performances.

Radford Care group had enjoyed a challenge and decided to celebrate the Jubilee over 2 days.

The party started with food and music and continued with joy and well wishes for the Queen.

Radford Care Group is a purpose built centre that offers daytime activities for older people, plus extended facilities for more frail older people.
