Since the moment that Val Demings announced she would be leaving her Congressional seat to run for Senate and defeat Marco Rubio, all eyes have been on FL-10.

I decided to run because I know my community needs a leader who will fight every day for and with the marginalized and disadvantaged. And since I launched my campaign I’ve been overwhelmed by grassroots support.

But corporate interests see this seat as their chance to roll back all the progress we’ve made and are gearing up to spend millions attacking me.

To take them on, I need $6,275 today alone to hire more staff, fund our ads, and promote our message. But I’m running out of time.
