Democrats in Congress are going above and beyond to secure the financial future of American working families and implement new initiatives to combat our climate crisis. This past Sunday, Senate Democrats passed the Inflation Reduction Act, and now it’s up to the House to get it to President Biden’s desk.

In addition to tackling inflation, the bill addresses the following critical issues:

Tackle the climate crisis - by reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 40% by 2030
Make giant corporations pay their fair share - by closing tax loopholes exploited by corporations

Lower the cost of health care - by bolstering the Affordable Care Act, and capping the cost of prescription drugs, like insulin, for Medicare beneficiaries

Pay down the deficit - by $102 billion over the next ten years

This is the biggest and most significant climate bill in U.S. history and a massive investment in the issues Americans value most. The House is set to vote on this bill this Friday, but they need to know that they have your support.
