Hi, John – We're making sure we have the pieces in place to win this November, so we want to bring you a quick update on the state of our race. The GOP only needs five seats to flip the House red – and Nate Silver’s FiveThirtyEight has reported that they're favored to do just that. So here is where we stand:
FIRST: The GOP labeled Chrissy one of their top targets – and they've indicated their intention to pour millions of dollars into attack ads against her.
THEN: Our opponent was added to the NRCC's Young Guns list, and Kevin McCarthy made his focus very clear, saying that this is a top race that the GOP needs to flip.
NOW: With McCarthy and his Republican outside groups combining a quarter of a BILLION to defeat Chrissy, we need your help to stop McCarthy’s plans and ensure we keep PA-06 blue.
Here's the thing: We know that Chrissy – a mom, teacher, and veteran – is the best choice to represent PA-06, and she'll continue to fight for working families when reelected – but first we have to win in November.
That's why we need to make sure we have enough resources to fight back against the inevitably loud GOP attacks and continue to spread Chrissy's message to voters.
So please, John, will you chip in $5 or whatever you can right now to help us stop Kevin McCarthy's plans and ensure we keep PA-06 blue?
