Folks, we’re rapidly approaching the end of the year -- and what an incredible year it has been.
I’m so proud of all we’ve accomplished together in my first year as your Governor.
From our efforts to tackle homelessness to our fight to create a sustainable, green economy, to our continued work to make California a place for all -- I’ve been so lucky to have you by my side.
But we have so much more work left to do as we head into 2020 -- the most pivotal election year of our lifetime.
Through all the progress we’ve made, we’ve also had to stand up to Trump and his destructive policies. He can’t stand the fact that our state didn’t elect him, and he can’t stand that we’re moving forward in spite of him. But next year, we get to vote him out.
It won’t be an easy defeat -- I know that Trump will continue to try to dismantle our progress. So before 2020, I need to know that I can count on you to stand with me.
