John,
Paul Hildwin spent 35 years in prison for a crime he didn’t commit — that alone is something we’d never wish on anyone.
But while he was in prison and fighting for his freedom, he was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma and had to simultaneously fight for his life. Over the course of Paul’s long wrongful incarceration, he fought and beat cancer four times.
In 2020, Paul was finally released and has been enjoying every moment of his freedom, but he recently received the devastating news that his cancer has returned for a fifth time — and he needs this community’s help.
Will you make a donation to Paul’s personal fundraising page to help cover basic expenses as he, once again, fights for his life?

Paul has been through the unimaginable — but he’s still ready to keep fighting. He deserves to feel supported and loved in this difficult moment, and we know the Innocence Project community will rise to the occasion.
Thank you so much for your support,
The Social Work Team
