Hello,

Have you ever heard the term “tracker?” I know I hadn’t until I decided to run for office.

“Trackers” are what political campaign staff call what are essentially professional stalkers. They’re paid by Republican Super PACs and dark money organizations to follow you around with a video camera literally everywhere you go – yelling ridiculous questions and trying to get you to say something that they can edit up and spin into a fake scandal on Fox "News."

Well, professional trackers now show up to all my events with Iowa voters, hired and paid to be there by the “unofficial research arm of the Republican Party.”

Mitch McConnell and his Super PACs are going to spend millions lying about me in TV ads. They’re scared because I’m a hard target for Republicans. They know that I can excite Independent voters and maybe even some pro-democracy Republicans to vote for someone who lives a life of Iowa values. And if I defeat Chuck Grassley and turn Iowa blue, Democrats will hold onto our Senate majority.

And we can win: A brand-new poll from the Des Moines Register shows we are within striking distance of Chuck Grassley!

I’m not taking corporate PAC money, so if we’re going to be able to fight back against the GOP’s lies and turn Iowa blue, I’m counting on you. We need to raise another $85,000 before our deadline at midnight tomorrow if we’re going to win, but right now, we’re still $31,924 short.

Please, will you give $5, $25, or whatever you can afford before our critical fundraising deadline to help me defeat Chuck Grassley, turn Iowa blue, and protect our Democratic majority in the Senate?

If you've saved payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:

I’m running for Senate because I care about the people of Iowa. I want to help Iowans achieve their potential and make our state a leader again in manufacturing, education, and clean energy. And I believe I’ve got the experience to get the job done.

But the only way I can get that message out and correct the lies they’re going to tell about me is with your donation now to my campaign.

Thank you for being a part of the team,

Mike Franken, U.S. Navy (ret.)
