McKees Rocks, PA – The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading small business advocacy organization, today endorsed Jeremy Shaffer in Pennsylvania’s 17th Congressional District. The endorsement was announced at a campaign event this morning held at NFIB member business Cranston Material Handling Equipment in McKees Rocks.
"As a former small business owner, Jeremy Shaffer understands the challenges of operating a small business," said Greg Moreland, NFIB Pennsylvania State Director. "He recognizes the harm burdensome government regulations and mandates can have on a small business and has pledged to advocate for pro-small business policies. Jeremy Shaffer will be a strong voice for Pennsylvania’s small businesses, and we look forward to working with him."
"Jeremy Shaffer will be a strong small business ally in Congress," said Sharon Sussin, NFIB Senior National Political Director. "We are confident he will advocate for Pennsylvania’s small businesses, and we are pleased to endorse him today."
"NFIB represents thousands of small businesses here in Western Pennsylvania, and it's an honor to earn their support," said Jeremy Shaffer. "As a small business owner myself, I am very familiar with the issues important to the independent job-creators across PA-17 and our nation. In Congress, I'll be a champion for pro-growth policies so businesses can thrive and create meaningful jobs that fuel our Western Pennsylvania economy."
