Honestly, we probably don't know much more than you about the Trump raid. However, we do know that it won't do a thing to stop the Supreme Court from further eroding our democracy by handing state legislatures the power to control federal elections.
First, MSNBC reported that “... the Supreme Court could make it legal to steal the next presidential election” if they validate the fringe independent state legislature theory.
Now, The Atlantic agrees:
“How Six States* Could Overturn the 2024 Election”
“The Supreme Court may let state legislatures decide the presidency.”
*Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, Arizona, Georgia, North Carolina |
But John, those six states? They’re all on our list of Democracy Targets for 2022.
