We have big news, John!

This fall, Matt co-sponsored a bill to lower the cost of prescription drugs for American families. Today, that legislation passed in the House!

This bill would establish a fair price negotiation program, protect the Medicare program from excessive price increases, and establish an out-of-pocket maximum for Medicare part D enrollees.

Matt has heard too many stories from folks in the 8th District who felt forced to choose between their medications and other essentials. It’s no wonder that many Americans report not taking their prescriptions as directed because of the cost.

The bill now heads to the Senate, where it will undoubtedly run into one big roadblock: Mitch McConnell’s legislative “graveyard.”

Can you speak out and demand that the Senate take action to lower prescription drug prices? [[link removed]]

The House did its job, now the Senate needs to do the same. The American people demand action – lives are at stake here.
