I want to take a minute to talk about finances with you. Most candidates elected to Congress are wealthy and receive large contributions from millionaires and billionaires, multinational corporations, industry PACs, and Super PACs.
Across the country, nearly $1 billion has already been pre-spent buying ad space for this election cycle, with $827 million of that from special interests.
One group, the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC)
is targeting and smearing progressive candidates who are vocal about Palestinian liberation. AIPAC has already dropped over $30 million this cycle. We need your support to ensure that monied and oppressive forces won’t control the narrative.
