Tell your Representative that the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), if passed into law, would be a game changer for climate and clean energy with benefits resounding across all facets of our transportation and energy systems.
Not only would the IRA amp up America’s clean energy production and create nearly $50 billion in annual energy savings for American households, but it would also boost domestic manufacturing and innovation, and drive economic development and clean energy jobs for American workers.
Never have I seen so many allied to get federal climate legislation done. From the grassroots pressure of the youth movement to nonprofits to businesses to labor and beyond, people on all sides have been clamoring for a bill like this and I’m proud of the role that Fresh Energy has played alongside advocates far and wide.
