Last night, I was honored to officially win the DFL nomination for the general election.
Minnesotans have a clear choice this November. As Attorney General, I’ve been fighting to help Minnesotans afford their lives and live with dignity, safety, and respect – especially when they have nowhere else to turn for help.
My opponent is a hedge fund lawyer with no courtroom experience who has vowed to “go on offense” attacking reproductive freedom and said he would "take a sledgehammer" to the office, gutting our efforts to protect consumers from predatory opioid, tobacco, and drug companies.
Every day, I bring my thirty years of litigation experience to protecting Minnesotans' safety, dignity, and pocketbooks. My opponent is more concerned with protecting a Fortune 500 company's bottom line.
I’m proud of the progress we made, but right now, it’s fragile. We had the closest statewide race in Minnesota in 2018, but this year’s election will be the most difficult test our movement has ever faced. And just like every challenge we’ve overcome, the only thing that can pull us through is people power.
