Last week, the Senate passed the Inflation Reduction Act — a bill that will take real action to address climate change, the cost of prescription drugs, and so many more of the issues taht really matter to Texas families.
But Texas Senators Ted Cruz and John Cornyn both voted NO.
They want you to pay more for insulin. They want seniors to go bankrupt from the price of prescription drugs. And they want to see our planet continue to suffer the effects of climate change.
And Governor Greg Abbott is right there with them.
Texas’ Republican leaders are failing our state and we urgently need new leadership.
But it’s not going to be easy. The first step is electing Beto O’Rourke and defeating Greg Abbott this November.
Then, we’ll have all the momentum we need to oust our ineffective Republicans Senators in the years that follow.
