Port Gamble montage
Port Gamble Forest Heritage Park Framework revised draft available to review
Kitsap County Parks is pleased to present the revised draft of the Port Gamble Forest Heritage Park Framework, formerly known as the master plan. Edits are based on review, comments and suggested changes to the original draft framework received from the public, Port Gamble S'Klallam Tribe, Suquamish Tribe, focus groups, the Parks Advisory Board, project steering committee, Port Gamble Stewards, Kitsap County staff and County Commissioners.
Due to technical challenges, the documents could not be uploaded to the project site and are instead posted to the Kitsap County Parks website [ [link removed] ]. Please note in the newly released draft documents, new text and changes made are indicated in red text within the documents. The original draft framework, comments matrix and frequently asked questions are posted and available on the project website here [ [link removed] ].
This revised draft framework will go before the Board of County Commissioners on August 22, 2022 for deliberations and potential approval.
