Hi team, I wanted to reach out to extend a HUGE thank you for your support over the past few weeks. We had back-to-back fundraising deadlines, and when we asked for your help, you stepped up – big time. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. With less than two weeks until the election, our team has been busy meeting voters, knocking on doors, and reminding folks of the importance of this election. This campaign was already getting significant attention, but after the vote on the ballot referendum in Kansas, it’s clear that voters are heading to the polls in big numbers to show that extremist efforts to take away our fundamental rights will not stand.
On the campaign trail, it’s been busy, but we’re definitely having fun as well! One of my favorite stops was a recent visit to Cooperstown Distillery, a great local business in the area. Earlier that day, I toured small businesses on Main Street, visited the Baseball Hall of Fame, and also met local health care leaders – the very folks keeping us safe and healthy during the pandemic.
We’re also excited about several recent endorsements, including the New York State Nurses Association, the College Democrats of NY, Giffords PAC, 1199 SEIU, CWA, and UAW Region 9A. We’re building a strong, broad coalition of supporters that are going to help us cross the finish line!
Our campaign also released a new ad recently. Holding powerful utility companies accountable for their actions has been a big part of my work in Ulster County, and I’m going to keep fighting to put power back into the hands of the people, not big global corporations.
With just a few weeks left until the special election, our campaign is busier than ever. I’m excited about what’s coming next, and I’m so glad to have you by our side as we rapidly approach August 23rd. Thanks again for everything! Yours in service,
